Part-time English courses in Nova Scotia

The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program is for students who want to attend university in Canada. The courses will develop students’ all-round English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.

This course is designed for those that want to study English for a short time in a native-speaking environment and are not interested in attending an English-speaking university. The course will focus on learning English in an integrated skills class in your morning classes.

This 8-week course is designed to help students prepare for study at a university/college where courses are taught in English. Students will develop and strengthen language skills in reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar and vocabulary.

Build your English proficiency by focusing on key skills to further your language development in specific subject areas, improving your confidence. Afternoon 20 consists of elective lessons only and range from topics including English for business, confident speaking, exam skills, customer service, IELTS preparation, or another specialised topic.

Semi-Intensive General English program offers targeted skill development, allowing students to focus on Reading & Writing or Listening & Speaking while building overall English proficiency. For Semi-intensive studies, students can choose Reading & Writing OR Listening & Speaking.

About the programme Our Canadian City Adventure programme is all-inclusive and includes visits to iconic destinations such as Vancouver’s Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, Niagara Falls (near Toronto), and Halifax’s Citadel National Historic Site. Students enjoy a dynamic mix of hands-on group activities and workshops while out and about exploring the local city.
