Standard was established in 1993 with the mission of providing language-coaching services - especially in spoken communication for students from all walks of life. Since its establishment. Standard has grown from strength to strength.

Its clientele, apart from individual students, including the staff of many large and reputable corporate organizations such as Malayan Banking Bhd. Matsushita Electric Company (National Panasonic), Pantai Medical Centre, The Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange, PETRONAS, The Forest Research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM), Tan Chong Motors, EPSON Computer Trading, Bank of Tokyo, etc.

With its head office in Bandar Baru Ampang, Standard has branches in Puchong, Jalan Ipoh, Taman Putra Ampang, Rawang, Johor Bahru, Taman Connaught, Bandar Seri Permaisuri, Klang and Penang. More branches are being planned.

Whatever the course you choose to take at Standard, you will not be bored by the traditional approach in language learning. Flexible approach towards the students is a top priority. Using the P.S.F. (Participative Standard Formula) methodology, students will readily grasp the mandatory sentence structures with minimal hassle. The total participative method provides students with real-life practical sessions.

The language courses are based on the students or a corporation actual needs. A standardized teaching methodology is used at all Standards centres. This is to facilitate the execution of the Participative Standard Formula, classes are deliberately kept small, and limited to 10 to 20 people per class.
