Homestays are carefully selected and offer students the opportunity to learn more about the local culture in a comfortable setting while studying English in Ringwood. These homes are often between 25 - 50 minutes away from the school by public transport. Families usually offer affordable meal plans that allow you to sample the local cuisine. If you have special requests or diet restrictions (because of religion or health reasons), please let us know in advance. Your housing starts on the Sunday before your first day of class and ends on the Saturday after your last day of class, unless otherwise noted. Learn more about homestay housing
A small, intimate centre with a capacity of 75, our New Forest centre offers attractive facilities in an idyllic location perfectly suited to the younger teenager. It is based at a Steiner Waldorf school and offers purpose-built classrooms, workshops for arts and crafts activities and access to nearby meadows and pretty wood.
The New Forest is a National Park with approximately 150 square miles of unspoiled, natural beauty. As well as forest, it is also made up of heathland and is notable for its wildlife: horses, ponies, cows, and donkeys that you can actually get close to. Our centre is located on the edge of Ringwood, a historic market town and the western gateway to the forest.
The small size and friendly, rural atmosphere make it an ideal place for a first overseas experience.
