Located on the beautiful Howth peninsula on Dublin Bay, Sutton Park School is situated 12km from Dublin City Centre and 15 minutes’ drive from Dublin Airport.  Sutton is a friendly and safe residential area of the city beside Howth fishing village, an area famous to tourists and Irish people alike!

Sutton Park School is a prestigious private high school with superb teaching and sports facilities and has welcomed international students for more than 20 years.
The school’s facilities include numerous computer labs, arts and crafts room, cookery room, tennis courts, indoor sports hall and extensive all-weather outdoor football/hockey pitches as well as its own cafeteria where students are served hot lunch every day Monday-Friday.

Accommodation is offered in experienced local host families in a twin/triple room sharing with a student of a different nationality and a similar age.  Apollo offers its own private bus service for students to travel to and from the school each day as well as private transport for all half-day and full-day excursions.

"Good first language stay experience, well supervised and organized; disappointment with family"

A very well located language center with quality teaching. A little old.
Significant activities, a little repetitive over several weeks, we recommend increasing the number of teaching hours for a better result.
A pleasant but absent host family, which degrades the experience of total immersion. Please make sure to mix the nationalities well for an optimal linguistic and intercultural experience.

Accommodation for Apollo Young Learners in Dublin at Sutton Park School is provided in local host families sharing a bedroom with 1 or 2 other students. All host families are police vetted and carefully inspected by Apollo management to ensure their suitability to host our young guests.

This popular choice of accommodation is ideal for young learners who are interested in experiencing life with a typical Irish family and regularly practising their English. Irish people love to talk!

Rooms
Students will have a twin or triple room sharing with other students. Rooms have two or three single beds, a study desk and wardrobe/hanging area.

Meals
Breakfast and dinner with the host family. Hot lunch in school restaurant Monday-Friday. Packed lunch from the family on Saturdays and lunch with the family on Sundays.

Bathrooms
Students will share the family bathroom in the home.

Internet and phone
Most host families have internet available but this is not guaranteed. Students can receive phone calls to the host family’s phone but cannot make outgoing calls.

Laundry
Laundry is included once per week.

Bed linen, towels and cleaning
Clean bed linen is supplied once a week. Students should bring their own towels. Students must keep their room tidy at all times.

Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged 100 € when you register.

Flights and airport transfer

Please note that we do not book flights for our students. If you are researching airfare costs, we recommend using Kayak.com, a search engine that lets you compare flight options from your home country to Dublin based on your budget, schedule and preferences.
