There's not much debate about where to go if you want to learn Finnish – a Finnish school in Helsinki will offer you the chance to learn this fascinating and unique language in an environment as unique and as fascinating, the political, economic and cultural capital of Finaldn. With its famous and stunning architecture, ranging from the neo-classical buildings that gave it the name "The White City of the North" to its famous early-2oth-century Art Deco constructions based on the tales of the Kalevala, Finland's national epic, to the functionalist buildings built for the Olympic Games, Helsinki is not an easy city to forget – and in the summer, when the sun almost never sets, it's an easy city to see. Then on the 1st of May, recover by going out for a picnic with your friends. During the summer months, you're likely to be able to take in the Helsinki festival, when you won't want to miss the Night of the Arts, when anyone can perform anywhere they want in the entire city.
