The market town of Huntingdon is located in Cambridgeshire, England. The town was founded by the Anglo Saxons and the Danes. Rainfall can be expected throughout the year, with temperatures never reaching much of an extreme. No stay in Huntingdon would be complete without a stop at the famous Hinchingbrooke House. This Tudor country house was built around an existing nunnery. The house has been home to a variety of important figures in British history including the Montagu family. Today the facility is used for a number of different events throughout the year. A performing arts centre was also built in the grounds offering a variety of entertainment options throughout the year including music, theatre and more. During the summer months, the house is open to visitors for both tours and teas. Oliver Cromwell was born in Huntingdon, and a museum in his honor is housed in the old Town Grammar School. The Intensive 35 course is the fastest way for students to improve their English skills, regardless of their starting level. The course consists of 20 lessons of general English, 7 lessons of structured study, and 8 lessons of elective English each week.
This programme allows students who are CEFR level A2 and above to join lessons in a Group class for 15 hours per week. When group classes are not available students will join a Three2One or Two2One or One2One class and may study less than 15 hours per week.
This programme allows students who are CEFR level A2 and above to join lessons in a Group class for 25 hours per week. When group classes are not available students will join a Three2One or Two2One or One2One class and may study less than 25 hours per week.
This programme allows students who are CEFR level A2 and above to join lessons in a Group class for 21 hours per week. When group classes are not available students will join a Three2One or Two2One or One2One class and may study less than 21 hours per week.
The General English course is 15 hours per week every morning starting at 09:30 and finishing at 13:00 with a coffee break at 11:00.
We use different course books throughout the year from Pre-Intermediate to Advanced level.
The Intensive English course is 21 hours per week every morning starting at 09:30 and finishing at 13:00 with a coffee break at 11:00. After a 1-hour lunch-break, you will have classes on 3 afternoons each week 14:00-16:00 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
