Course description

Intensive English Course

20 lessons (x 45 mins or 15 hours) per week.

Lessons normally take place from Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 12:30. The four morning lessons focus on the main areas of language learning: grammar and language work, reading and listening, communicative activities and speaking practice. Our aim is to provide you with the vocabulary and grammar required for effective communication and particular attention is paid to improving speaking and listening skills.

The following levels are catered for: beginner (A1, only English lessons), elementary (A2), pre-ntermediate (B1), upper intermediate (B2), advanced (C1) for both languages.

Our English and German summer courses take place in a modern youth hostel by the river Rhein. Situated between historic towns like Bingen and Rüdesheim.

We are also using the modern youth hostel in Bingen.

From 30/06/2024 - 14/07/2024 and from 04/08/2024 -17/08/2024 is Ebernburg our place to be. From 14/07/2024 - 04/08/2024 we are in Bingen.

The lessons were great and the location too. I also liked the food, and the castle was very clean. One little thing was: some afternoon activities got a bit boring after like an hour, so maybe the organization can pay some attention to that.

The place was beautiful, an old building but very well maintained.
The lessons in the first weeks were not so strong, not a high level, after that I moved to a very strong level in German and I liked it. I expected us to speak German all the time and not just in the lessons because most of the time we only spoke English.
Regarding the food, there are days when the food was not good and especially on the first day it was bad later on it got better but in my opinion it could be improved further.
The weather was very hot and at night it was difficult to sleep because of the heat and there were no air conditioners or fans in the rooms.

Classes = I wanted to study more about the conversation. It’s a little bit easy for me.
I don’t like such a class room that is too hot.
Teacher = You’re so funny and interesting people. Thank you so much❣️
Location = It’s a very good place ! I love the castle.
Facilities and housing = A shower in my room is a little bit broken but I can use it.
I wanted more vegetables without dressing. The table is too small for me.
My roommate occupied the table and chair.
Activities = They’re amazing and wonderful! I love its a lot. I need more help for explaining about activities.
It’s difficult and too short. I needed more time to do archery. I like the pool so much. It was fun.
