The Spanish Filmmaking Summer Course in Madrid is a unique international program that combines Spanish language learning with filmmaking, acting and creative media production. Designed for students aged 9–18, the course allows participants to improve their Spanish while working on real audiovisual projects with professional film teachers and industry-standard equipment. Students learn the basics of scriptwriting, filming, acting, editing and audiovisual storytelling, while collaborating with other international students in a creative and inspiring environment.
In addition to Spanish lessons and filmmaking workshops, the program includes sports, social activities, cultural excursions and full campus accommodation with 24-hour supervision. The camp promotes complete Spanish immersion, as students communicate in Spanish throughout classes, workshops and daily activities.
This course is best suited for creative, curious and motivated students who are interested in cinema, acting, photography, digital media or storytelling, and who want to improve their Spanish in a practical and interactive way. Student residences are more suitable for an independent student, who is looking for clean, basic accommodation at an economic price. All students must be 9 - 18. Your housing starts on the Sunday before your first day of class and ends on the Saturday after your last day of class, unless otherwise noted. Learn more about student residence accommodation
We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.
Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you.
