The Intensive 30 Spanish course is designed for adult students who want more classroom time and extra speaking practice during their stay in Barcelona. It combines the standard Intensive 20 group course with 10 additional conversation lessons per week.
Students follow 30 Spanish lessons per week, usually Monday to Friday. The main group lessons focus on practical language use through speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing. The additional conversation lessons focus especially on oral communication, fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary activation and confidence in real-life Spanish situations.
Classes use a communicative Spanish immersion method and are taught in small groups. Students are placed according to their Spanish level, and teachers adapt the pace and classroom focus to the needs and progress of each group.
Because the additional lessons are conversation-focused, students normally need at least an elementary level of Spanish. Absolute beginners who want a more intensive schedule may be better suited to a combination course with private lessons.
Outside class, students can join the school’s cultural activity program to experience Barcelona’s neighbourhoods, local culture, food, architecture and social life while practising Spanish beyond the classroom.
You can choose from the following class times:
