Course description

The personal interests and wishes of students always come first at TANDEM, and given the array of courses, it is easy to find the course best suited to one’s language goals. TANDEM's experienced instructors - all native German speakers - pride themselves on giving communicative and lively lessons. Grammatical intricacies are explained using easily-comprehensible methods and participants receive ample opportunity to practice all four language skills – reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Using modern teaching materials, a variety of organized and targeted language programs meet the needs of every kind of learner.

For the resident Ausländer or anyone visiting Munich with a desire to improve their German, TANDEM continually runs German intensive courses. Held from Monday to Thursday, intensive courses for all levels total 16 units per week (each unit equals 45 minutes), with a tag-team of teachers leading each small group. Those courses are available all year at all levels and can be used to prepare students for the official German Certificates telc Deutsch B1, telc Deutsch B2 and TestDaF.

I liked all the experience, the host family very nice and friendly, the location of the apartment was close to the school and in the historic center of the city, the school Tandem is very professional well organized and good teachers, and I really enjoyed all the experience, Munich is also a great City.

Students live with Germans, sometimes families, sometimes flat sharers, very often single people who have a spare room. You have your own room and share kitchen and bathroom with them. Students cater for themselves, either by contributing to the budget or by shopping for themselves.

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged 100 € when you register.
