The School offers Spanish and surf lessons programs together with accommodation in very complete packages with the best quality-to-price ratio of services.
Whether you strive for riding waves in a safe environment or seek to improve your Spanish language skills, in Oasis you will benefit from an inclusive and personalized program.
For the Spanish programs, students can choose between an INTENSIVE course or a REGULAR course together with accommodation in one of our student houses, greatly located near the beach, Oasis School and cozy bars and restaurants in the nicest area of Puerto Escondido.
Students booking a week of Spanish have additional free of cost activities, such as city tours and cultural excursions to explore Puerto and it`s surroundings. These activities are once a week and they are a great way of practicing your Spanish in a real environment as well as making new friends enrolled in the program.
For students booking the Spanish and surf program, Oasis offers, apart from the Spanish lessons and cultural excursions, personalize surf lessons, Fitness for Surfing classes, surfing photo sessions and surf coaching sessions once a week.

"Great experience with the homestay family and the professional teachers"

Originally, I planed to stay for two weeks with the school and the homestay family. Since it was such a great pleasure to stay with all the people, and I made a very good learning progress, I decided to stay for two weeks more! In the morning, I took private classes, and in the afternoon, I went surfing in the lovely coasts of Puerto Escondido. A big thank to Sol, Roger, and the whole staff of Oasis Language School!

I have been a student at Oasis for two successive years, for a week at a time, including tutorial lessons and homestay. In all respects this was an excellent learning experience. Oasis was receptive to my input as to lesson material which made the learning experience more interesting, and that, plus the quality of the tutors, made for an excellent learning experience. Tutorials were held at my homestay which made them very convenient. The homestay venues have proven to be very good and dinners with my host family were like a conversation class. I continue to attend Spanish classes in my home community but nothing matches the opportunity by Oasis to dialogue in Spanish.

I had a great experience at Oasis. The classes were of good content. My instructor quickly evaluated my level, as well as my weaknesses,
and formed a lesson plan for the 10 classes that I signed up for.

The classroom building is very near the beach, so that was fantastic! The interior of the school was nicely arranged.

Overall, it is a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere to study and learn Spanish.

My teacher was very thorough, listened to my requests for specific instruction, and greatly helped me in my quest to become fluent in Spanish.

The classroom could be a little warm, and the upstairs room had an echo in it. My lodging during my time in PE, both home stay and in private quarters, were excellent. It couldn't have been better.

Overall it was a great experience that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Homestay is a great opportunity to daily improve your spanish!
You will live with a mexican family. You will have your own private bedroom and share the rest of the space with the family. Some houses include private bathroom as well, but not all of them.
They family will provide you 2 meals a day, usually breakfast and lunch. The meal is a great opportunity to interact with the family, learn about the culture and try traditional mexican dishes.
All families are use to work with the program so we guarantee that you will feel safe, comfortable and welcome.
The family will provide you a key of the house. Please be aware that while living with a family you will need to follow the house rules.
All family houses are well located within walking distance from the school, the center of Puerto Escondido and Carrizalillo beach.

All Oasis packages include weekly accomodation in one of our School Houses, in fully equipped suites or private apartments with all comodities. Both Houses are greatly located near the center and at a walking distance from the school, the beach and cozy bars and restaurants!
MANGO SURF HOUSE: Named after manificent mango trees in the common area, Mangos Surf House host 4 beautiful and cozy private apartments fully equipped with private terrace, kitchens, bedroom and private bathroom.
LA BARCA SURF HOUSE: Lodging 3 great suites and 5 excellent private apartments, the nice swimming pool on the common terrace creates a nice, friendly and warm atmosphere. Whether you want to meet other travellers with the same interestsand programs, or you rather enjoy your privacity, there is room for you at La Barca!

HOST FAMILY HOUSES:
If you are looking forward to immerse in the mexican culture and experience a different way of travelling, we help you too! Homestay includes a private room, private bathroom (often) and 2 daily meals of delicious Oaxacan food. Our host families are very nice and used to host students, so all of them are very friendly, open and welcoming. The School will send you all the information relating to your stay once you have sign up for the program and prior to your arrival.

WiFi internet, Drinkable water, free coffee, clean shits and towels + cleaning service, swimming pool, common area and terrace are included in most options. We will confirm your accommodation details once we have received your enquire.

Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. The school is also not authorized to issue documents to support your visa application. If you need a visa, you have to apply for a visitor or tourist visa on your own.
