It was really good.
I’ve learned a lot in 1 month. The teachers were super. The lessons was really good.
The location was good but far from my housing.
The housing was good but they were some problems.
But in general it was great
I chose program 2 weeks full and it was really intense! many activities and a lot of things to study, but cool! the teachers are lovely persons, the city is beatifull, I rented a bike and it was the best idea, unfurtunaly the weather somtimes doesnt help, but still it is somethig that you have to do, the people there in genral are very kind, in the school and in the street too, I think this is very important when you are traveling alone, people from alx they help me a lot too, I met them and gave me advices about places to visit and how the city runs, my acomodation was a bit far, 45 min away to the center, but at least close to the school 15 min away to my place, anyway Amsterdam isnot a really big city so it wasnt a big deal.
Thanks from Brasil !
The company does not provide good service. Everything good has Mixtree and the course price is very low in relation to what you charge. The price of Mixtree plus the room is not even close to what I was charged.
I was rented a room in a house where the owner had little knowledge of English, when one hopes to learn not only in class but also in the family home.
Before starting the course, two days before they changed my location for the second time.
They put me in a room with another person when the price was for a private room.
The boat ride and the beer together both seemed uninteresting.
My room was 40 minutes away by train and the same from the central station, bone away from everything, and I was not given a card for transportation costs due to the bad location.
Finally, the breakfast they left us was not enough and it ended before the end of the stay.
I am left alone with the good experience of Mixtree
We understand what you’re saying and we’re sorry that some things didn’t turn out the way you would have liked. Let me respond to some of the things you mentioned.
The change of the address was due to some unfortunate personal problems of the host. Unfortunately these things can happen. We immediately acted and made sure you had a different place to stay at and tried to guide you there.
We have a 24 hour support service and reached out to you be asking about your stay to which you replied positively. Had you told us about the breakfast before, we would have been able to make things more comfortable for you.
In regards to your accommodation and language, an English speaking host family is not part of our service. The educational program consists of English courses, and we offer extracurricular activities to meet people and participate in various events.
Had you been more timely with your requests and complaints, we would have definitely tried our best to make things as comfortable as possible. We do our best to give you a great experience but it’s also up to you to make the best out of it.
The course was really good , the teachers was really nice and funny.
The lessons were helpful.
The activities was really amazing.
The housing was good the people were sociable but they were some issues but in general it was okay.
The way of the class are imparted are really efficient and the people and teachers are really nice.
It is focus mainly in speaking skills, time flies in this classes
We were a small group and the teacher was very patient and helpful.
The thing I enjoyed the most was riding my bike through the park and taking pictures of the city.
The Hostel was very nice and they were always some activities to do with other guests or students.
The course was kinda ok, the teacher were nice and helpful, but the group was very small and not all member were Young. The structure of the school was very old. I stayed in a hostel which was pretty ok for 2-3 nights, but more than that is not very comfortable, so I moved to a hotel. I also rent a bike with ALX, but it was very heavy and slow.Show details » Read more...
