The General English course consists of 20 lessons each week and is the least intensive option offered at Kaplan. This course allows students to improve their English while still leaving time for sightseeing and leisure during their stay.

The Intensive 35 course is the fastest way for students to improve their English skills, regardless of their starting level. The course consists of 20 lessons of general English, 7 lessons of structured study, and 8 lessons of elective English each week.

For those looking for a part-time study option, our Core English Program offers the perfect schedule, blending the study of English fundamentals with ample time to experience the many local attractions and destinations. The program includes one core class.

The Intensive English Program at FLS offers the most hours of live instruction per week available at any U.S.

The Vacation English program will provide students with the opportunity to explore in and around the Los Angeles area while helping improve confidence in using English in everyday situations. Based on Language Systems’s popular intensive ESL program, the Vacation English program focuses on listening, speaking, grammar and reading skills, but it has less rigorous academic requirements, helping students improve while having enough time to explore popular nearby tourist sites.
