Course description

Intensive General English (GE) is a full-time, academically focused program designed for students preparing for college or university studies in English, as well as those seeking structured and measurable progress.

CLLC’s rigorous curriculum is aligned with internationally recognized language frameworks, including the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) and the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), while also supporting preparation for standardized exams such as IELTS and TOEFL.

Structured across six levels—from Introductory to Advanced—the program develops essential skills in reading, writing, listening, speaking, and critical thinking. With 25 hours of instruction per week, students benefit from a guided, teacher-led learning environment that supports consistent progress and strong academic development.

Each level is typically completed in 10 weeks, with progression based on continuous assessment and the achievement of clearly defined learning outcomes.
